The Day I Become A Vegetarian

This is a little excerpt from one of my favorite movies, With Honors. For some reason I have always loved this unpopular, unimportant early '90s film. It's about being young, figuring out what really matters in life, and finding your family. I love the witty banter exchanged between the four roommates: Everett, Monty, Courtney, and Jeff, as they negotiate the challenges of love, sex, education, and human need.

Everett: Court, do you think Debbie is a seductive Pinoir or a nutty Cabernet?
Courtney: Debbie?...What happened to Helga?
Everett: (sighs) I love them both.
Courtney: Everett, when are you going to realize women are more than just romantic grape juice?
Everett: When are you going to realize men are more than just pieces of meat?
Courtney: The day I become a vegetarian.
